About the Job
The Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Business Unit is looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to join us remotely. In this technical leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of the RHEL portfolio and defining forward-looking strategies in coordination with other business units and product teams.
You will collaborate deeply with technical and engineering leaders across the organization to manage user experience and operational coherence across the offerings. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What You'll Do
Provide strategic direction and vision for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux product portfolio.
Manage the development and execution of product roadmaps.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Work closely with marketing, partner, sales and engineering teams to build out product-led growth capabilities and programs
Coordinate technical enablement to professional services consultants, solution architects, technical sellers, and partners
Serve as an advocate both internally and externally to guide overall success of Red Hat Enterprise Linux offerings
What You'll Bring
10+ years of experience as a strategic leader in product management, preferably in enterprise software
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience in the open-source software industry is highly desirable.
Experience scaling new ideas across large, global user bases
Deep understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar technologies.
Proven track record of successfully managing and launching enterprise-level software and online service products.
Ability to work with and across multiple individuals and teams to guide concrete outcomes
Solid understanding of product strategy and market positioning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across all levels of the organization
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
