Reporting to the Senior Channel Director, the Regional Channel Director covering TN, AL, AR, MS, and LA holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about Video Security & Access Control. This individual will be a strong positive leader, highly partner focused, efficient, and results oriented.
This role will be responsible for leading the regional Channel team covering a multi-state territory (TN, AL, AR, MS, LA). This role will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
Coaching assigned Channel Managers (CAM), setting clear monthly, quarterly, and annual business goals.
Leverages MSI adopted business tools and practices designed to facilitate, manage, and measure progress and overall performance.
Responsible for managing the channel partner led opportunities and growing the pipeline.
Creates and executes comprehensive business plans and practices to be leveraged in fostering deeper relationships with both internal and partner organizations, and key stakeholders.
Anticipates channel and market needs/opportunities and works to couple with MSI’s video and security and access control portfolio
Builds multi level relationships across channel partner community along with industry influencers.
Leads creation of innovative marketing, service and supply chain approaches designed to benefit MSI and while bringing value to the channel partners.
Owns representing the channel perspective to Motorola Solutions and ensuring collaboration by linking channel partner success to MSI’s ability to initiate and build solid working relationships with diverse channel partner decision makers and influencers.
Maintains full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices and owns conformance across the team.
Works with key work partners to create a highly collaborative, high caliber, high energy, high impact operating environment.
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
5+ years of Channel Management or Sales experience
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Seeking 2+ years of Leadership experience
Seeking knowledge of both traditional and emerging technologies in video/access control and how they may apply to our channel partners
Sustained high quota and performance results over multiple years both at the team and individual level
Demonstrated ability to energize and lead high caliber cross functional teams
Individual must have strong Interpersonal / presentation skills and the ability to deliver complex solutions in simple terms
Ability to travel extensively throughout region
