The Team: The Credit Analytics Product team drives continuous value delivery through discovery, product innovation & usability.  The team focuses on understanding our users to define, manage, and support the suite of Credit Analytics Products with robust data, advanced analytics, and streamlined workflows.

The Impact: As part of the Product Management team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of new product initiatives and support of our offerings in the market. You will work alongside S&P Global Technology, Commercial, Content and Operation teams to define executable business requirements that aligns the client needs with Risk Solutions strategy.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled technical Product Manager specializing in delivering advanced data sets and analytics models. Daily responsibilities include attending daily scrum meetings to ensure team alignment with sprint goals, prioritizing & refining the product backlog items based on the latest data-driven insights, and collaborating closely with data scientists to refine analytics models. 

  • Completing all phases of product management from product discovery, refinement, execution, and delivery.   
  • Review and interpret complex data sets, understand advanced analytics, and work with the development team to ensure quality processing of robust data and delivery of advanced analytics to our users
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and web services teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile environment. Ensure seamless execution from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with engineering teams & fellow product managers to ensure technical feasibility, alignment with strategy, and to manage dependencies and requirements across teams 
  • Executing on the go-to-market strategies for product rollout/launch and managing comprehensive release artifacts, including release notes, deployment guides, user manuals, and technical documentation
  • Championing the Credit Analytics product suite both internally and externally.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data products, analytics platforms, or related fields.
  • 5+ Years working in an Agile or Scrum environment, with expertise in managing backlogs, conducting refinements, sprint planning, and product releases.
  • 3+ Years working with back-end scrum teams and a solid understanding of the technical aspects of product development, including software architecture, APIs, big data, and data integration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong meeting facilitation, communication, and presentation/public speaking skills
  • Have proven experience working in an environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide the team through key milestones.
