About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity as Carrollton TES Management System & Learning Coordinator Lead. This role's primary location listed is Carrollton, Kentucky.

As Carrollton TES Management System & Learning Coordinator Lead you support maintaining and coordinating the TES site ODMS (Operations Discipline Management System) maximizing value from ODMS use in the department. You will support maintaining and coordinating the TES site training and learning system, the on-going development and leveraged delivery of global/regional TES, and the overall Carrollton Site learning strategies. You partner with the organization’s leadership to ensure learning objectives are accomplished. You will enable an effective knowledge transfer for new employees and ensure long-term maintenance and a continual increase of knowledge for current employees. You will also be responsible for delivering the TES site communication and alignment plans and lastly the metrics and progress reporting strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall ODMS "maintain" efforts for the business in the department.
  • Coordinate and work with other ODMS support and implementation roles to "implement" and "maintain" the ODMS.
  • Act as the organization subject matter expert for the overall management system.
  • Support all element owners in the department.
  • Drive the Plan DO Check Act cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Work with Business/Department Leadership to identify organization level opportunities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Management System Reviews.
  • Training coordinator for Carrollton TES site.
  • Work closely with the training coordinator network and other learning networks to leverage implementation of learning initiatives across the organization.
  • Act as the subject matter resource for the training and learning system and coach employees on how to access and utilize training and learning resources.
  • Collect, monitor, and report learning measures for the TES site organization.
  • Work with curriculum owners on curriculum design, implementation and maintenance.
  • Manage TES site learning budget as applicable and manage vendor relationships including contract management, if necessary.
  • Support talent development initiatives.
  • Utilize the learning networks to implement the learning strategy, and associated plans which will meet functional and site learning objectives. Represent site in appropriate regional learning network.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required. Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate's Degree) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing or other related experience required.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
