We are currently looking for an Interior Design Engineer to join our team in Smyrna, Tennessee.

As on-site NTCNA engineering, the Satellite Office investigates quality issues, contributes on new model launches, and collaborates with manufacturing and R&D teams to speed up quality and cost improvement changes.

Job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Quality investigations of various automotive systems and components.
  • Collaborate with Production, Parts Quality, Field Quality and other departments for quick quality and workability improvements.
  • Participate in launch events including production trials, for both, minor and new models.
  • Work with Key Stakeholders on addressing warranty issues.
  • Lead key on-site safe launch activities to ensure zero spikes during launch.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering required; Mechanical or Automotive preferred. Electrical experience desired.
  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience in design and development of interior, exterior, body or Chassis is required. OEM or automotive supplier experience desired.
  • Knowledge and experience in warranty or quality engineering would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of CAD software such as NX, CATIA, etc.
  • Up to 15% travel is required.
