Contract Manager

Glasgow

Up to £50,000 per annum

Full time – Permanent, 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Including company car or £4,500 company car allowance

Mears provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers whilst their claim is being assessed in three regions: Northwest, Yorkshire and Humber, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs.

About the Role:

As a Contract Manager within our Tannochside branch, you will be managing a team of Supervisors and subcontractors. Your main duties will include being responsible for the day-to-day management of contract service delivery at local branch level. This includes operationally and partly commercially. Delivery of high quality capital & programmed works and / or built environment services to Housing Client properties, ensuring teams operate to Mears defined branch standards and deliver best in class customer service, whilst satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards relating to budget, profitability and resource deployment. Another part of the role will be dealing with Mears internal stakeholders and other teams on the contract to ensure the best service is provided and dealing with large number complaints that come directly to the Contract Manager. As well as be responsible for the office and building compliance

As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will carry out a DBS & BPSS check, as well as Security Clearance.
