Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for processing daily Loan transactions in the Branch as well as ensuring customers receive payments in a timely manner. Ensure all Loan transactions in accordance with procedures manuals, operational guidelines.

   

What you'll do:

As a Loan Operations Administrator in Taiwan’s thriving financial sector, you will be entrusted with overseeing the end-to-end process of daily loan transactions. Your day will involve close collaboration with both internal teams and external clients as you ensure every transaction is handled with precision. You will be responsible for preparing settlement entries, monitoring fees and invoices, reviewing documentation for accuracy, storing records according to strict guidelines, completing essential checklists on time, preparing comprehensive reports for management review, and proactively following up on outstanding items. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail combined with excellent interpersonal skills; your ability to communicate clearly with Relationship Managers and customers will help maintain the department’s dependable reputation. By supporting risk management initiatives and contributing recommendations for continuous improvement, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of the branch’s operations.

  • Process daily loan transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring all activities comply with established procedures manuals and operational guidelines.

  • Deliver high-quality service to customers by managing payments promptly and maintaining clear communication throughout each transaction.

  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Product Offices to collect necessary information and clarify requests related to loans, securitisation, and bank guarantees.

  • Partner with various internal departments such as Operations to seek advice and support for complex transactions, fostering a cooperative work environment.

  • Handle loan drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, loan settlement entries, remittance applications for disbursements, fee monitoring, invoice preparation, and collection of fees or interest with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Review, sort, and check all documentation associated with loan transactions, funding arrangements, telex message dispatching, and opening documents to ensure accuracy before processing.

  • Store documentation securely in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and local regulations to maintain compliance and data integrity.

  • Complete checklists promptly to support efficient workflow management and minimise risk due to error.

  • Prepare regular reports including financial statements, exceptional handling reports, incident logs, overdue reports, and other required documentation for management review.

  • Monitor pending transaction items closely and communicate effectively with Relationship Managers and customers to manage follow-ups that control risk exposure.

  • Excellent communication skills are needed so you can present information clearly when supporting your line of reasoning during interactions with colleagues or customers.

  • Strong presentation abilities enable you to share insights effectively within team meetings or when discussing transaction details.

  • Fluency in English is important as it allows you to interact confidently across diverse teams within the organisation.

  • Attention to detail ensures that all loan transactions are processed accurately while minimising errors that could impact customer satisfaction or compliance.
