Role Summary

The C05 Analyst is responsible for processing customer account opening and maintenance requests for UAE banking products in accordance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements (SLAs). The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to compliance standards, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process account opening requests for individual and business customers in line with UAE regulatory and bank policies.
• Review customer documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform account maintenance activities, including customer information updates, mandate changes, account closures, and other servicing requests.
• Conduct required system and compliance checks prior to processing requests.
• Ensure all requests are processed within agreed turnaround times and quality standards.
• Identify discrepancies or incomplete documentation and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
• Escalate exceptions, risks, and process concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and process evidence.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
• Adhere to all operational controls, policies, and risk management standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in banking operations, account opening, customer servicing, or financial services.
• Basic understanding of KYC, AML, customer due diligence, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in banking operations, AML/KYC, or compliance will be an added advantage
