Big news for 2025: Contentoo is expanding!

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll help our customers achieve their marketing goals by leveraging the tailored support of our freelance content creators through our content marketing platform. You’ll manage strategy and production, advise on optimising content workflows, and continuously identify new (commercial) opportunities for growth.

What you will be doing 

  • Sharing learnings and insights on customer and market developments/trends

  • Guiding customers post-onboarding to drive adoption, expansion, and renewals.

  • Growing revenue by upselling services and expanding into new departments or entities.

  • Managing key accounts strategically and building strong client relationships.

  • Leading executive business reviews and creating Customer Success plans.

  • Sharing insights on customer needs and market trends.

What we expect from you 

  • Experience: At least 4 years in a commercial, customer-facing role, ideally managing enterprise-level clients or a portfolio of 20+ accounts.

  • Languages: You’re fluent in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in Dutch or German is a strong advantage due to our client base.

  • Industry knowledge: Experience in the marketing industry is a significant plus.

  • Skills and mindset: 

    • A strong commercial mindset with a knack for identifying growth opportunities.

    • Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.

A day in the life 

It is Friday, the end of the week. You start your day with a weekly recap with your team. You share one of the week’s successes, like the renewal of a customer contract, which included an upsell for a content marketing strategy.

Next, you join a monthly review meeting with one of your key customers. During the session, they share plans to expand their business in Spain and France. You realise this will require additional translators in both languages, so right after the meeting, you coordinate with the Talent team to begin sourcing the perfect freelancers for the job.

Before lunch, you work on preparing for an Executive Business Review (EBR). You collect all the relevant data to understand the customer’s goals, identify how Contentoo can support them, and spot new opportunities for collaboration. You develop these insights further to present during the review.

After lunch, you create a list of untapped opportunities for your accounts. You notice some aren’t yet using all our services, so you outline a plan to promote these solutions to the right people. You also reach out to potential new users from key accounts to introduce them to our platform.

Finally, you wrap up the day with your weekly 1:1 with your lead. Together, you review your customer portfolio, celebrate wins, and discuss opportunities and strategies for the week ahead. You (can) end your day enjoying a drink in the sun on the roof terrace with your fellow Connies if the weather permits.
