Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Content Marketing Director to build a new category. This role is designed for a dynamic individual with proven category building experience to impact brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive content strategy 

  • Develop data-driven content strategy that aligns with company goals, customer needs, and industry trends. This strategy should outline content themes, target audiences, key channels, and metrics for success. 
  • Partner with vendor to optimize SEO strategy including: keyword research, meta descriptions, optimized headlines, and internal linking strategies 

Reinforce ParetoHealth as an industry thought leader  

  • Create a quarterly anchor thought leadership artifact with unique insights, trends, and expert point of view that positions us a category leader.  
  • Conduct customer interviews and manage processes that consistently produce 5 case studies per quarter to demonstrate customer experience and business impact. 

Generate and nurture leads through storytelling 

  • Develop evergreen nurture campaigns that address specific customer pain points, questions, and needs at each stage of the buyer’s journey. This includes case studies, success stories, and educational content that supports the sales funnel. 
  • Support key product launches or major marketing campaigns with the creation of webinars content, landing pages, blog posts, press releases, and social media content. 

Scale content marketing impact 

  • Standardized content playbooks and style guides that ensure brand consistency across all content channels. These documents should provide guidelines for tone, voice, messaging, and visual standards. 
  • Manage an editorial calendar and dashboard reporting that outlines all upcoming content pieces (including blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, videos, and other formats) and measures their business impact. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally with experience with brokers and employer benefits. 
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Must be willing to travel seasonally, 10% of the time, to meet business needs.
