Job Description

Summary

The Regional Director of Nursing, Agency is responsible for the overall management and leadership of nursing services within the agencies CSI Pharmacy utilizes. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, compliance with regulatory standards, and operational efficiency. The Regional Director of Nursing, Agency oversees the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing agencies, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and drives the growth and development of the home and/or infusion therapy programs in the agencies we work with. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

  • Provides leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring partner agencies that work with CSI Pharmacy have alignment with our mission, vision, and goals.
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and protocols specific to home and/or specialty infusion therapy services.
  • Serves as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervises and evaluates the delivery of nursing care by partner agencies, ensuring they meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees patient assessments, care planning, and the administration of home and/or specialty infusion therapies provided by partner agencies.
  • Acts as a clinical resource for complex patient cases, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards (e.g., ACHC).
  • Conducts regular audits of nursing documentation, practices, and patient outcomes.
  • Oversees quality improvement initiatives with partner agencies to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
  • Oversees scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Implements processes to improve operational efficiency and address staffing or logistical challenges.
  • Works closely with pharmacy, billing, and administrative teams to coordinate patient care and services.
  • Addresses agency related patient concerns, complaints, or escalated issues promptly and professionally.
  • Contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of CSI Pharmacy's culture of service, ensuring that all activities align with our core values and mission.
  • Consistently represents the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintains effective working relationships and cooperates with Company personnel.
  • Adheres to the Company’s compliance requirements as stated in the policy and procedure manual and all other related policies.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school as a Registered Nurse (RN), bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in home or specialty infusion therapy or home healthcare.
  • Proven experience managing clinical teams and overseeing regulatory compliance.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
