About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced product manager to join our Fraud & Risk Products team and expand our core capabilities innovatively. If you’re intrigued by solving one of the world’s most impactful social and economic problems, this is the role to make a real impact. The Fraud & Risk team at Socure has an ambitious goal of making the internet a safer place by verifying 100% of good identities while eliminating identity fraud. 

You will work closely with our world-leading customers to understand the fraud and growth challenges they are experiencing and transform those learnings into innovative fraud prevention products. You will set product direction and align the whole team around a common goal. The ideal candidate has a deep interest and experience in fraud and digital identity and has demonstrated the ability to set a bold product direction and ship products to achieve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers, our commercial teams, and technical stakeholders to help define our fraud & risk product suite roadmap

  • Execute multiple high-leverage initiatives to bolster the market-leading position of fraud & risk products

  • Define clear requirements and align our technical teams to ship new products and features 

  • Selflessly collaborate with other product teams to build holistic, cross-functional solutions 

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive products, and regulatory changes, and use this information to shape your product roadmap

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience with demonstrated ability to build a multi-quarter roadmap and shipping products to achieve it

  • Set the pace – you understand the scale of the opportunity ahead of you and move with urgency to deliver meaningful impact to our customers

  • Data savvy – demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Customer-centered – you thrive on spending time directly with customers, establishing close relationships, and becoming their go-to partners

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Identity Verification or Fraud Prevention domain experience – You understand and have worked within the fraud & identity verification domain, and understand the key principles of fraud investigation and identity verification

  • Understanding of FCRA and non-FCRA regulated products and datasets 

  • Experience working with data sets using SQL, Python, or R

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative or business discipline

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $150,000 - $195,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity,  comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
