Responsibilities
-Work directly with design responsible engineers to procure the correct number of parts and supplies to support the test fleets
-Create a system for test fleet parts inventory management and maintain the correct amount of stock for fast moving parts and supplies
-Stage parts for workshop tasks, technicians, and engineers
-Maintain a high level of communication with the workshop, test engineers and development team to ensure all supplies are stocked and organized according to their needs
-Work directly with the store’s managers at the other Rivian facilities and plant to share resources and part allocation
-Keeping fasteners and consumables stocked at the workshop
-Handling part returns to the respective suppliers
-Coordination of shipments for the Test and Development teams
-Perform other duties as assigned, requested and needed

Qualifications
-2+ years of experience in a parts advisor role
-Experience in a R&D position is a plus
-Valid driver’s license with clean record
-Strong automotive mechanical understanding
-Strong computer skills especially with work management systems
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
-Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
-Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
-Ability to communicate in a high-pressure environment.
