We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Analyst to join our team at Micron. The successful candidate will assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and work papers for federal, state, and international tax filings and providing support for quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740. This position is eligible to be remote in the United States.

Job Description

Regional Tax Responsibilities:

• Preparation of US federal and state corporate tax returns  

• Supports fixed assets tax depreciation calculation and reporting.

• Assisting with preparation of quarterly tax provision, tax estimates, deferred taxation and tax packages as needed.

• Supports US R&D tax credit claims.

• Support tax planning initiatives such as tax incentives and credits.

• Maintain professional relationships with finance team, external advisors, auditors and tax authorities.

Global responsibilities:

• Collaborate with US based tax team to assist with the preparation of US international tax forms (forms 5471, 8858, etc.)

• Supports various global tax projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with either A Master’s degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is preferred.

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.

• Experience with a variety of taxing jurisdictions and affiliated income tax filing requirements.

• Strong in Excel and large data manipulation skills.

• Alteryx software experience is an advantage.

• Experience in working Onesource Compliance software (OIT) and/or SAP knowledge is an added advantage and Alter

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$69,000.00 - $150,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
