Job Description

The position Sustainability Pilot (F/M) is part of the SERVICE MRT & DIGITAL > DIR. RENAULT GROUP COSTING ROMANIA, part of DIR. GLOBAL BUSINESS SERVICES ROMANIA.

The mission of this position is to assume the role of  Sustainability Pilot on the costing tools being the main driver to change and implementing the concept of DATA CULTURE, using digital technologies in an agile way.

Sustainability Pilot will be in responsible with the following activities:

  • Leading collaborative sustainability initiatives

  • Developing costing awareness of CO2 emission during production phase; costing tools should be updated accordingly

  • Ensuring the robustness and freshness our worldwide energy referential for electricity/gas/others, thanks to internal and external sources

  • Identify sources to gather energy and CO2 for material production

  • Developing consumption models for all production machines in automotive, in accordance with Technology or Commodity pilots, adapted to our internal costing tool

  • Ensuring a “one-voice” approach to challenge our suppliers, in short loop with Renault Group Procurement counterpart

  • Training and ensuring a good knowledge of Energy topics by the full Renault Group Costing network

  • Collaborate with the Costing Team to integrate sustainability principles into cost analysis and management processes

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams Engineering/Renault Group Procurement to evaluate the environmental impacts of different cost scenarios

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainability

  • Conduct life cycle assessments of products and provide recommendations for sustainable alternatives

  • Implementing transformative strategies with a focus on engagement and enjoyment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical bachelor’s degree, with minimum 3 years of technical experience in sustainability, environmental science, or related field

  • Very Good technological skills

  • Proven track record of successfully leading sustainability initiatives and projects

  • Advanced English and French beginner

  • Very Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point)

  • Strong collaboration and strategic thinking abilities, along with a customer-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results

  • The ideal candidate will be adept at implementing transformations while maintaining a fun and engaging environment.
