Risk Operations Analyst

The Analyst for “Risk Management & Controls” operates within the First Line of Defense and is accountable to assist the team in driving effective programs execution against the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
 The Junior Analyst works in supporting the team initiatives, such as risk assessments, KRI/KPI development and monitoring, working with the business line to proactively self-identify issues, and ensure on-time remediation of issues.  The Sr. Associate must be able to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Training: Help in the preparation of Business Line Training for program pillars. Work with Internal Fraud team to prepare, maintain or updated Policies.

Authorized Trading Control: Review of daily controls. Consolidation of monthly KRI /KPI. Quality assurance of outsource controls.

Support the team on Sensitive Position program.

Support the team with Management information presentations for different forums.

Work and support the RCSA team with responsibilities including Process Mapping, Risk & Control Matrix, and Heracles data/input.

 
Education:
bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field. (Req)

Work Experience:
Risk Management, Internal Controls, Auditing, Credit Management, relevant line of business experience and/or legal or regulatory experience. (1-3 years preferable)  


Skills and Abilities:
Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
Ability to constructively work both independently and in collaborative environments involving all levels of management and employees
