The Deputy EUMOC Manager support the EUMOC Manager in overseeing the successful buildout, implementation, and daily operations of the Enterprise User Management Operation Center (EUMOC). The selected candidate will support the EUMOC Manager with all financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the program. The position will involve interfacing with client and corporate executives on a regular basis. The deputy directly supports the EUMOC manager with team and client management and will act as the lead in the absence of the EUMOC manager.

The Deputy EUMOC Manager supports the successful cost, schedule, and performance of a federal contract. Will assist in performing schedule estimations, tracking, contract/subcontract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities. And all other duties as assigned by the EUMOC Manager.

More About the Role:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Assist with the development of a comprehensive plan outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for building out a Managed Operations Center.
  • Assist in the Coordination and leading project teams to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
  • Supervise the EUMOC team and report on operational goals and responsibilities, operational changes, identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project completion.
  • Client and team communication – Responsible for providing regular updates on operation status, incidents issues and milestones to the EUMOC Manager and others as directed.
  • Facilitate effective communication between leadership and team members, ensuring everyone is aligned with goals and work objectives.
  • Assist with overseeing the creation and delivery of SOP, Workflows, reports and all other documentation related to processes and procedures.

Resource Management:

  • Work closely with department heads to allocate resources effectively for project tasks.
  • Identify and resolve resource constraints to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Directly manage both CACI resources and subcontractors
  • The selected candidate will assist in leading a team of 20+ staff members comprised of 4 watch officers and 16 network engineers. This 24x7x365 operation consists of 1 watch officer and four engineers per shift. Teams are responsible for proactively monitoring the network's health and assisting users with reported issues.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and lessons learned.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Proactively address challenges to prevent project delays or deviations from established plans.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a DoD secret Clearance / An active DoD Secret clearance.
  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
  • Must have documented 5+ Years of direct relevant experience leading Information Technology professionals in a Managed Operations NOC, SOC or Emergency Operations Center (EOC) environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other software applications as required, including Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple “High” priority tasks and make sound decisions in response to each.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience utilizing ticketing systems (JIRA, Remedy etc.)


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Industry certifications related to network security (Network+, CISSP, CCENT, Security+, CISM etc.)
  • Experience with DoD network cyber security and DISA STIG requirements
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Experience working with DoD customer.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
