What you’ll do : 

Operational Support: Perform operational tasks to assist the Business Development (BD) team, including activities such as onboarding, content editing, and handling merchant inquiries, following established procedures. 

Sales Support: Assist sales team members in preparing proposals, presentations, and reports for merchants and senior management. 

Merchant engagement: Represent Klook as an ambassador and promote its services based on the specific needs of merchants. 

Coordination: Collaborate closely with various departments within the company, including marketing to maximize sales, supplier operations to enhance efficiency, customer service to drive satisfaction and repeat business, and finance to ensure accurate payments and minimize risk.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with various internal functions (e.g., tech, product, marketing, supplier operations, customer service, finance) to generate/execute plans, maximize sales, ensure alignment, enhance operational efficiency, drive customer satisfaction and repeat business. 

Vertical Ownership: Effectively manage a designated destination and/or vertical by gathering key insights, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and representing Klook within the vertical. 

What you’ll need :

1 to 3 years’ experience in Business development or Account Management, e-commerce related background will be an advantage

Communication: Effective communication skills to understand merchant requirements, gather product information, and manage client expectations. It involves being curious and use active listening to understand merchants. 

Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage merchant portfolios, track sales activities, and ensure timely follow-ups. 

Data skills: comfortable working with spreadsheets and internal management systems. Has a natural curiosity of working with data and systems. 

Good command in English and Cantonese 

Focused creative thinking and self-motivated  

Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Team player with a positive roll-up-your-sleeves and entrepreneurial attitude.
