The Technical Project Manager is accountable for the successful completion of client engagements by planning, executing, and controlling all phases of the project.  As the key customer liaison, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for executing the project scope, managing customer’s expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.  The Technical Project Manager leads and mentors the project team producing quality, on-time, on-budget project deliverables that meet the SOW requirements while mitigating risk for Walmart.  The Technical Project Manager is accountable for the successful completion of client engagements by planning, executing, and controlling all phases of the project.

What you'll do:

  • Creates and drives the overall project plan.  Drives and manages on-time, on-budget project delivery.

  • Manages project logistics, schedule and drives project status reporting. 

  • Sets and manages client expectations with the project delivery.

  • Obtains client sign-off on project phases and deliverables.

  • Documents and manages issues and risks to ensure the project is on track. 

  • Manages the project scope to the SOW and drives project change request process.

  • Escalates exceptions to the scope, timeline, budget quickly so they can be managed.

  • Identifies and forecasts project resource requirements

  • Manages the resource burn rate against the forecast and adjusts if needed.

  • Manages the testing phase, including capturing issues and facilitating resolution.

  • Contributes best practices and deliverable templates to the WCT methodology.


What you'll bring:

  • Technical degree (Computer Science or Engineering) preferred; MBA is a plus.

  • 3+ years of project management experience with implementing SaaS solutions

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills, strives for win-win resolutions.

  • Ability to anticipate and build contingency project plans. 

  • Expert problem-solving capabilities. 

  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism. 

  • Experience with supply chain implementations, system integration and consulting.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product management, sales, and engineering.

  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and team collaboration, as needed.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,750.00-$181,250.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
