Team/Role Overview:

The individual will be working in Warsaw, Poland supporting applications for the GFTS organization.  Team members are located across the globe supporting several franchise critical applications for the Financial, Risk, Compliance and HR systems.

What you’ll do:

  • The individual will be closely interacting with infrastructure partners, senior application managers, and business leaders across the organization.

  • Work closely with systems, database, and middleware administrators across the regions.

  • Interact with build integration teams and set standards for new deployments.

  • Represent the team as a SME with senior stake holders and application owners.

  • Provide technical and strategic direction to command centre and Level 2 systems administrators.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Deep understanding of RedHat Linux operating systems and associated tools

  • Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred.

  • Knowledgeable in automation tools like Ansible and/or Chef

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to create scripts in Bash, Perl, Python or other languages.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.

  • Clustering experience preferred.
