Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Architect with expertise in Spring Boot Microservices to join our Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) team. The team will be responsible for developing an ecosystem that allows for integration between the internal systems of various merchants and a set of Meta(Facebook) APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance microservices architecture using Spring Boot framework and the Spring Integration module. Roles & Responsibilities: Designing and architecting microservices solutions based on Spring Boot framework, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps engineers, and QA analysts to define architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines. Leading the design and development of APIs, integrating various microservices components, and ensuring seamless communication among services. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, assisting in troubleshooting complex technical issues, and reviewing code to ensure adherence to architectural standards. Evaluating new technologies and tools, conducting proof of concepts, and recommending innovative solutions to enhance the microservices architecture. Identifying and mitigating technical risks, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. Participating in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities, and effectively communicating technical concepts to stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: Proven experience working as a Technical Architect or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing microservices architecture using Spring Boot framework. In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, and related technologies, with a strong understanding of design patterns, RESTful APIs, and microservices best practices. Proficiency in Java programming language, along with experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud-native development practices. Experience across many or all of the platforms is ideal. Proficiency with Messaging Middleware (e.g. ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc) Experience with both relational and non-relational storage Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Spring Boot. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
