Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Roles & Responsibilities: PowerBI Platform Support: Team manages platform specific variety offerings related to data analytics, big data, Extract Transform Load (ETL), data science, and data visualization within the Power Platform Collection. Platform operations within PowerBI Platform Team focuses in managing and maintaining the current operating infrastructure, platform upgrades, patching compliance, security standards, cost management, compliance adherence, automation and performance enhancements, user guidance and assistance, general error debugging and network analysis activities. Some of the key points to note for Power Platform includes gateways and cluster and node traffic, access control management, platform upgrade and patch compliance, administrative regulation of resource consumption, network integration and basic networking understanding, Scripting and APIs, RLS and Security Integrations accepted by Power Platform, functional database connection plugins and installations, and fundamental report design understanding and best practices with data structure and big data performance. These traits are pivotal to daily operations for maintaining standard Power Platform Functionality. Support internal and external auditing request and comply with any existing or any new SOX controls which may get added. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI. - Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Hands-on experience in implementing various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms. - Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Power BI. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 year full time education is required.
