We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead our ads formats team at Snap Inc!


What you’ll do:

  • Lead Ads Format team at Snap and deliver innovative, engaging and performant ad experiences for our users.

  • Strategic leader who is able to think broadly as well as go deep to define roadmaps and product vision for highly cross-functional, strategic areas for the company.

  • Work with Snap organic team to define native, Snappy ad formats and influence broader ads quality teams such as marketplace and ranking to deliver intelligent formats (ranking informed)

  • Hire, manage and mentor a team of ad formats PM team.

  • Instill a culture of quantitative rigor and drive the launch review process for the formats team.

  • Effectively partner with design and engineering teams to deliver on their vision and roadmaps.

  • Be an organizational leader who both identifies opportunities and delivers results against key company-level business objectives.

  • Demonstrate a high level of influence, trust, and decision quality.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Analytical skills and prior ads format leadership experience.

  • Ability to lead and inspire cross functional product management teams

  • Ability to collaborate and drive alignment across organizations from C-Levels through to engineers, designers, other product teams, and cross-functional teams

  • Skilled in effective mentorship to direct or indirect reports and cross functional team members

  • Ability to initiate and drive emerging projects from strategy to completion

  • Ability to communicate results clearly and effectively across a matrix organization


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant years of experience

  • 10+ years of product management experience at a technology company


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior ads format and ads quality leadership experience.

  • Hands on experience across the entire product lifecycle including: defining product needs, prioritization, pre/post-launch execution

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $244,000-$366,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $232,000-$348,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $208,000-$311,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
