Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Java Enterprise Edition. Your typical day will involve working with the development team, analyzing business requirements, and developing high-quality software solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Enterprise Edition. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code is well-designed, maintainable, and scalable. - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and apply them to improve the quality and efficiency of software solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services. - Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and agile methodologies. - Experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
