Job Purpose: The Japan Commercial and Medical Tech Business Partner will serve as the primary liaison between the commercial and medical business units and the technology organization at GSK Japan. This role is pivotal in shaping technology strategies for Japan with business objectives and understanding of local market, fostering digital transformation, ensuring the successful deployment of technology solutions tailored to commercial and medical needs, and providing stable service.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and medical business stakeholders.
  • Be strong Tech partner with understanding local business objectives, processes, local market, and challenges to recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Align technology strategy with the goals and objectives of the commercial and medical teams.

Technology Solutions:

  • Evaluate and recommend technology and AI solutions that meet the specific needs of the commercial and medical units.
  • Ensure alignment with GSK’s technology standards and best practices across markets.
  • Oversee the implementation and adoption of new technologies & AI, ensuring they meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure stable Tech service provision and build efficient cross-functional support model.

Digital Transformation:

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance business processes and improve customer and patient experiences.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, data analytics, and other emerging technologies relevant to commercial and medical functions.

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage technology projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Tech, commercial, medical, and external vendors.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with business leaders, Tech teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide project updates.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor and analyze technology & AI trends to identify opportunities for innovation in the commercial and medical domains.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
  • Gather feedback from business units to enhance technology services and solutions.

必要な条件Basic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry in Japan.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, data analytics, digital marketing).
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the Japan pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English.

  • Skill in leading a multifunctional team for at least a complete project cycle
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, ITIL based service management, Project Management and Design Thinking is a plus
  • Basic Knowledge of GxP and GAMP is a plus

  • Working in multinational diverse environment is a plus
  • Managing partners as a team is a plus

学位/資格/語学力 Education/Certification/Language

  • Veeva product certificate is a plus
  • Project Management Education or equivalent certificate (Agile preferred) is a plus
