Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • End to end accountability for Agile and Waterfall applications testing support
  • Work closely with IT to ensure sufficient and timely testing resources, facilities and environments to support user testing of various IT application developments  
  • Create a testing strategy and a sequence of test plans to support the test strategy for each IT application development or installation
  • Collaborate with Business Analysis, Project Management to establish quality criteria and to ensure testing team follow all quality criteria agreed for each specific project
  • Work with business users, business analysis team and IT to set out entry and exit criteria of each test
  • Review and track test results and providing updates to senior management
  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication and serve as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams. Informing key stakeholders on the testing progress.
  • Be alert to and able to mitigate any threats that may arise during the testing process
  • Conduct test-related risk assessment and mitigation for each test
  • Contribute to training and support for people affected by new systems and processes, run workshops and training sessions as and when required

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years' of relevant working experience, preferably gained within insurance / pensions industry
  • 4+ years’ experience in Testing for application development and management

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Proficient industry knowledge of the MPF / ORSO regulation/ Trust related regulations and concepts
  • Proficient in MPF market knowledge
  • Proven experience as a Business or Test Analyst or in a related role
  • Familiarity with software development cycle, Project Management Professional (PMP), Waterfall certification preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Results oriented; able to strike balance on multiple priorities and projects
  • Strong team-player who willingly and openly shares ideas and knowledge. Able to collaborate with different team members in a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent communication skills in both written & spoken English and Cantonese
