As a Corporate Counsel on the Legal team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Perform legal matters as designated by your supervising attorney to support the brands, departments, and corporate locations of Neighborly. 
  • Gain the legal experience, knowledge, and expertise to support Neighborly on a day-to-day basis, in various areas of the law to include, but not limited to franchise law, intellectual property law, contract law, employment law, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and so much more.  
  • Advise assigned brands on legal issues with an understanding of how to appropriately balance risk and their ability to pursue its business interests. 
  • Develop strategy for managing and resolving franchise issues, litigation, and pre-litigation disputes. 
  • Coordinate with outside counsel to represent the company’s best interest.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience: License to practice law.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills.  
    • Highly organized and detail oriented. 
    • Proactive, innovative, and creative problem solver. 
    • Works well independently and within team environment. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Education: JD degree from an ABA accredited law school. 
  • Schedule / in-office requirements: Monday – Friday, in office
