The Role:

The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for assisting the procurement, order fulfillment, and reverse logistics areas of the supply chain. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, the role requires a strong team player who has a high attention to detail and possesses a strong ability to prioritize and self-manage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing orders, managing status updates and requests, and receiving, processing, and managing reverse logistics. The candidate will also be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, tracking, and monitoring the statuses of orders and returns. They will also work with the procurement vendor manager regarding procurement purchase orders and the management of daily operations. The candidate will be a key contributor to the global supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow the monthly planning process and place the POs with the vendors.
  • Work closely with vendors and ensure the aligned delivery schedule is followed.
  • Communicate the delivery schedule with related customers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance to monitor on-time and in-full services.
  • Raise any issues related to order fulfillment or on-time delivery and follow up on action items.
  • Facilitate new vendor onboarding to gather essential details from the vendor and help them integrate into Kobo’s procurement processes and practices.
  • Implement procurement strategies to drive cost efficiencies and quality improvements.
  • Validate invoices, address, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Receive, validate, and process return requests.
  • Work with 3PL return facilities to validate return quantities and identify variances.
  • Manage return discrepancies, identify root causes, and provide corrective actions.
  • Review and ensure all return order statuses are correct.
  • Identify and investigate any discrepancies during the month-end process.
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resources.
  • Other duties, including special projects as assigned by the Manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Identify and communicate discrepancies in returns.
  • Identify and communicate potential stock issues.
  • Identify areas of improvement/process optimization opportunities and work with required stakeholders on scope and implementation.
  • Maintain and update all process documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of supply chain experience within the tech/CPG sectors.
  • Experience in procurement, order fulfillment, and reverse logistics is an asset.
  • Mandatory previous experience with ERP system(s).
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Previous experience in dealing with vendors.
  • Post-secondary education in Business and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including Excel, Email, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Organized, with a strong sense of ownership over areas of responsibility and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize, and execute tactically.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Mandarin speaking is an asset.
