Position Title: Project Finance & Infrastructure - Senior Analyst

Summary:

Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join its Project Finance & Infrastructure Ratings team. This dynamic and high energy professional will support all aspects of the credit ratings process. The analyst will have direct involvement in high profile and challenging work with exposure to senior staff and external market participants. This position will be based out of KBRA’s New York City office.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of rating and analytical tools such as cash flow models used to evaluate project finance debt structures.
  • Support quantitative and qualitative analysis for credit memos and publications.
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases.
  • Assist in research for internal and external publications.
  • Monitor and update credit factors on Power, Energy and Renewable Finance companies/projects.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Math related fields or any subject that requires strong analytical skills.
  • 1-3 years of work experience as a credit analyst with experience in project finance, structured finance, or fixed income investing a significant plus.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a highly collaborative team and across disciplines in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage time and resources in a fast-growing company.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Effective verbal communications skills. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, ability to construct and modify cash flow models is a significant plus.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Successful progression towards CFA a plus.

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $90,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
