Job Title: Data Analytics Manager – FT/Exempt

Report To: General Manager

Job Summary

Soldier Field – ASM Global is dedicated to enhancing the fan experience and operational efficiency at Soldier Field and four other Recreational Facilities. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to stadium operations, fan engagement, ticket sales, premium spaces, event performance, sustainability, and more. This role will work closely with various departments to provide insights that support strategic initiatives and enhance overall stadium and recreational facility performance.

Job Responsibility and Duties – Other duties may be assigned

  • Gather data from multiple sources, including ticketing systems, fan surveys, operational reports, sustainability systems, social media reports, and more

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in operations in Soldier Field and recreational facilities

  • Develop and present comprehensive reports and dashboards to the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Director of Recreational Facilities highlighting key insights and recommendations

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the success of events and initiatives within all recreational facilities and Soldier Field

  • Utilize predictive modeling techniques to forecast attendance, revenue, and other critical metrics

  • Create visualizations that communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ensure data integrity and security in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations

  • Design and administer surveys to gather feedback on community programs, class schedules, and facility offerings for recreational facilities. Utilize the collected data to inform program development and enhance user engagement

  • Analyze historical and real-time attendance data and event bookings to identify trends and inform marketing strategies to boost sales, bookings, and fan turnout

  • Design and execute targeted surveys for various purposes, ensuring the continuous collection of up-to-date and relevant data to enhance decision-making processes

  • Work all major events that occur at Soldier Field – ASM Global

  • Foster and maintain relationships with partner organizations to acquire necessary data. Work collaboratively to refine data accuracy and specificity, identifying opportunities for improved data collection methodologies

  • Oversee aspects of premium product offerings for events to generate new revenue for the client

  • Collaborate with event management teams to ensure seamless ticketing operations for all events

  • Conduct other duties as assigned

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred. Applicant has three or more years of experience in data analysis, preferably within sports, entertainment, or large venue operations. Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a sports or entertainment environment.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience with creating and analyzing KPI’s.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software’s.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools for efficient data handling. Knowledge on how to use outlook, word, and a desk phone.

  • Capable of drafting clear and concise reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Experience with event ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster, AXS, Ticketweb, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of analysis and reports.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to assess complex datasets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of stadium operations and fan engagement strategies preferred.

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
