At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.
As the Team Member Experience Program Lead, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the unique needs of our team members, with a special emphasis on underrepresented talent. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement comprehensive career development initiatives that empower employees at all stages of their career journey. By focusing on individual growth and organizational needs, you will ensure that our team members have the tools and opportunities to excel and advance within the company.
A key aspect of this role involves deeply understanding the barriers for team members to develop and grow into manager and/or senior leadership roles. You will lead efforts to create tailored development initiatives that align with Lyft's values and business objectives. These may include rotational programs, internal mobility policies and procedures, sponsorship or mentorship programs, peer learning, external speaker series, etc. By collaborating with Talent Management, DEIB and other People team and business partner stakeholders, you will ensure that these career growth initiatives are effective and contribute to a diverse and inclusive leadership team and culture. Your work will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and accountability in fostering a thriving career development environment at Lyft where everyone belongs.
Why Join us?
As a Program Lead, you will help shape the future of our workforce by designing career development solutions that inspire growth and drive performance. You’ll have the opportunity to work with talented professionals across the company, build innovative growth initiatives, and make a lasting impact on employee development. If you thrive in an environment that values creativity, technology, and continuous improvement, this is the role for you!
Lyft is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regards to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other basis prohibited by law. We also consider qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable federal, state and local law.
This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
