At Amgen our shared mission—to serve patients—drives all that we do. If you want to help us succeed on our mission, we are now looking for a Business Unit Coordinator in our Hematology/Oncology Business Unit.
Amgen operates in Norway and Denmark as a combined affiliate, and in the coming years we have several exciting launches, that will help serve even more patients. This Business Unit Coordinator role will be part of the Hematology/Oncology team, which is responsible for Business Unit support, planning and execution of internal and external projects for therapeutic areas within the BU.
Reporting to our Associate Director Business Unit, the Business Unit Coordinator will be a key contributor to all operational aspects of the team hereunder providing customer service to internal and external clients, developing new procedures leading to greater effectiveness within the BU and ensuring high compliance standards, using our internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the sales and marketing teams and projects.
- Execute C3 processes within BU, including internal approvals and external contracting, train, and guide BU team members on admin compliance processes.
- Ensure transparency publication of HCR collaboration and sponsorships to the industry association (e.g. LMI database)
- Creation and design in Office 365 of BU specific marketing materials such as invitations, agendas etc.
- Responsible for the planning, coordination and full execution of external customer events, congresses, and internal meetings.
- AMEX local contact person.
- Responsible for the marketing materials process in cooperation with the external vendor (ensure compliant handling, ordering and distribution of materials to HCPs, exhibitions etc.).
- Responsible for BU SharePoint sites /Team channels
- Screening of and partnering with external vendors.
- Proactive follow-up of sponsorship files and consultancy agreements: making sure the files are complete according to company standards, coordinate the internal flow, etc.
- Responsible for the Purchase Process: management of contracts (Master Service Agreements), onboarding of new vendors, creation of purchase orders and monitoring purchase orders and payments.
- Support sales and marketing teams in the review and approval process for different materials (PromoMats)
- Responsible for uploading promotional material to LMI Database on a regular basis.
- Writing and sharing meeting minutes from BU meetings
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / Masters' degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years related experience in business support, project management or commercial function.
- Experience using MS Office tools.
- Experience from working with compliance processes.
- Experience from working with SAP or similar system.
- Fluency in local language and English.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in similar or related disciplinary and/or international environment.
- Solid knowledge of the pharma industry.
- Knowledge on internal stakeholders in region and sub-region.
- Knowledge on internal and external compliance.
- Experienced in project management internally and externally.
