RAC Finance (RACF) specialise in market leading finance products and services ranging from personal loans, investment notes and property development finance loans.

What will you be doing?

As a Personal Finance Assistant (Loan Processing), you will be responsible for processing successful personal loan applications and ensuring member service levels and responsible lending decisions are made within credit policy/procedures and targets.

In addition, you will;

• Analysing and verifying supporting loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Proactively keep members informed of loan progress, outcomes and complete follow up calls to progress loan applications to settlement
• Analysing all data and complete necessary credit assessment checks, to ensure an acceptable level of risk, complying with all legislative requirements including the National Credit Code
• Achieve credit assessment targets in accordance with credit policy and procedure
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to ongoing continuous improvement and process enhancements.

What will you bring to the role?

• Previous loan preparation experience is required (banking or finance industry experience preferred)
• Experience in a customer service role (face to face or in a contact center environment
• Strong communication skills
• Sound understanding of the national credit code, responsible lending obligations and Privacy Act
