JR60629 Senior Product Engineer - CXL System

As a Senior Engineer with AMS, CXL System Product Engineering group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the team in supporting & delivering Best-In-Class memory technology, CXL (Compute Express Link), from New Product Introduction (NPI) to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).  CXL is the next generation memory standard protocol for Processors, Memory Expansion and Accelerators. We are seeking aspiring individual who will function as technical lead or individual contributor in Electrical Failure Analysis (root causing) and driving mitigation plan to ensure good functionality & quality of Micron product.  In addition, the candidate will be required to : 1) develop and execute system diagnostic tools for product characterization; 2) build proficiency in optimizing system PE debugging infrastructures and tools for problem solving. You will also be expected to participate in the global CXL network/forum in contributing to the resolution of issues throughout the life cycle.   

 

Candidate with previous experience working in SSD or memory component development in a capacity of either product, software development, test, firmware, design engineering will be advantageous. This position will require excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work well in teams, good communication skills, self-motivation and keen to explore new innovations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support for CXL Product Failure Analysis from NPI to HVM stage.

• Responsible in fulfilling product yield milestones during both NPI and HVM stages through optimization of test methodology & test flow.

• Develop tool/script to support yield evaluation, data analysis and test correlation, including Product Database maintenance & management.

• Perform CXL characterization to optimize product performance.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree holder in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proven good problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of computing system interface such as PCIe.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++/ Python/SQL/MySQL.

• Relevant experience in setup & managing of Database data analytics and reporting will be an advantage.
