Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Forecasting and Analysis: Contribute to the development and upkeep of the Firm’s financial models to forecast Assets under Management (AuM) and revenue. This includes conducting in-depth analysis of business drivers, revenue metrics, variances, and trends.
- Strategic Planning: Play a key role in the annual financial operating plan and the 3-year strategic outlook planning processes.
- Financial Reporting: Work collaboratively with team members to create, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages and presentations for management.
- Expense Management: Support business managers with expense planning, financial reporting, annual expense budgets, monthly forecasts, and ad hoc analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance and streamline financial processes.
- Team Support: Provide assistance to team members as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Special Projects: Manage special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and analysis, along with other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least three years of experience as a Finance Associate, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role, preferably within the Asset Management industry.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including PIVOT tables, LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and advanced functions).
- ERP Experience and Financial Modeling: Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion SmartView, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Python is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrates exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a proven track record of effective and autonomous problem-solving. Experienced in creating dashboards using systems such as PowerBI.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging professionally and succinctly with all levels across the firm.
- Quality Commitment: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness in all tasks.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to respond effectively to inquiries from various levels of management and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external contacts.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 87,000.00 - $ 104,000.00
