What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Financial Analyst.  This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) combatant command EUCOM and AFRICOM. 

The Financial Analyst is an individual contributor supporting an assigned portfolio of projects and functions as an effective business partner to support the Program Manager and Program Management Office in providing financial support and analysis for planning, forecasting and decision making and overall delivery of financial commitments. Ability to effectively utilize corporate systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, Hyperion (CAPS), SmartView, Cobra, etc. to obtain relevant financial data for analysis in support of program financial performance management.

The Financial Analyst function is responsible for all program financials, including assistance with review of cost, funding, labor charging, and all forecasting and internal reporting.  The Financial Analyst will operate 0f the contract finance team relating to  finance and accounting issues, more specifically:

  • Support to program process, financial training and education and any associated PFA tasks.
  • Support the development of annual operating plans and forecasts and supports monthly quarterly and annual updates
  •  Assist to identify and quantify any potential Risks and Opportunities not in the forecast
  • Support the monthly business rhythms of both the program and finance organizations
  • Participating in and supports meetings and program reviews (PMRs)
  • Perform financial analysis in support of ongoing program management
  • Assist in developing accurate and timely monthly performance reports for the programs and projects.
  • Provide financial support to Program and Project Managers in the preparation and analysis of complex project financial data and other complex contract, project or business related task.
  • Assist in the development of financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.
  • Monitors progress of program requirements. Monitors cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.
  • Helps prepare complex financial/administrative reports and distributes to customers/user organizations.
  • Helps conducts complex financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.).
  • Liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers and performs extensive investigations as required.
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts. May review the work of others and can detect errors or needed modifications.

You'll bring these qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline, plus min 5 years of related experience.
  • Top Secret Clerance
  • Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, Hyperion, SmartView, COGNOS
  • Must have experience performing program control & financial analysis support
  • Must have experience performing variance analysis, cost baseline preparation and reviews, break-even, and other ad hoc analysis
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, cost collection, invoicing, and revenue recognition
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams

These qualifications would be nice to have:

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills such as pivot tables, filters, sumifs and vlookups to work with large data sets to perform analysis and monthly manual spreadsheet report in support of monthly invoice
  • 5+ years program control & financial management experience in a government contracting environment
  • Experience leading and managing teams

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,900 - 189,100 USD
