The Tax Leader Latam will be responsible to review and analyze federal taxes until the moment of payment, as well as fulfillment of tax obligations for the assigned companies.

  • Supervise the execution of taxes LATAM in time and form, as well as the correct accounting application within the books (annual taxes and provisional payments and withholdings of taxes) according to the laws.
  • Overseeing processing Tax Returns and Transfer Pricing by LATAM.
  • Coordinate and respond to information requirements in a correct and timely manner, such as: compilations, electronic audits and refunds.
  • Review balances of tax accounting accounts and complying with the corporate tax policy, looking forward to achieving a zero balance in all LATAM tax accounts.
  • Carry out projects or activities according to the needs of the Business
  • Inform and control of ETR according to laws and corporate tax policy.
  • Administrate and follow up the tax booking and SAP and tax systems users.
  • Maintain motivated and challenge interest in all the staff of Tax.
  • Efficiency in continuous improvement of all LATAM tax processing. 
  • Maintain good communication with Local and business TAX Departments, giving to them a quick answer about any funding request.
  • Review of contracts, preparation of writings and interpretation of Laws.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Specialty’s in Tax (5 years) experience in taxes with knowledge in LATAM.
  • Demonstrated minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and taxes with demonstrate efficiency in Specialist in federal, state, municipal taxes, IMSS.
  • To have leadership skills and experienced supervision of multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Proficiency in the use of computers, Excel, and other business and tax applications.
  • Possess excellent listening and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) and Brazilian Portuguese preferably.
  • Knowledge of Mex GAAP and US GAAP.
