Director, Global Business Treasury – Platform Job Description

 

Job Description

As a key member of the Motion and Energy Finance team, the Director, Global Business Treasury will report to the MOEN CFO. They will assume a strategic role in all business cash management functions, including cash forecasting, foreign exchange, working capital management, dividends and loan facility utilization. In collaboration with regional headquarter and corporate treasury, business segments and platforms, prepares financial analysis and modeling, measures performance and executes business plan.

 

Duties:

·       Provides leadership and direction for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. 

·       Align business segment objectives and development plans with strategic business objectives and processes

·       Ensures adequate liquidity for working capital and investment needs, develops forecasting methods, manages intercompany cash including intercompany lending, payments, dividends, and capital injections

·       Prepares financial modeling and analysis, including consolidated cash forecasting, capital structure and alternative financing strategies, and presentations for senior management

·       Lead regular cadence of financial meetings with corporate

·       Lead annual borrowing facility process

·       Oversee intercompany AR/AP clearing

·       Cash management plan to support global investment initiatives and minimize risk

·       Supports non-recurring Treasury and cross-functional projects with Treasury involvement, as needed

·       Responsible for managing activities in collaboration with Corporate and Regional Treasury, Platform and Business segment Controllership, Regional Finance and Global Tax to accomplish planned growth

·       Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action. 

·       Mentor and develop direct reports and the wider members of the finance Organization.

·       Ensure continuous improvement and standardization of processes.

·       Evaluate and evolve systems, reports and tools

·       Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting

 

Qualifications:

·       BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA (or equivalent Treasury Certification) highly desirable

·       10-15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in global Manufacturing sector- working closely with multiple cultures, currencies and local laws.

·       Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

·       Exceptional communication skills with strong interpersonal and presentation skills- delivering clear and concise messages to multiple management groups.

·       Results oriented with high achiever motivation. Sets high expectations and achieves stretch goals.

·       Strong analytical ability and critical thinker to develop strategy.

·       Advanced computer skills on MS Office and accounting software are required- skilled excel and power point use is necessary. 

·       Ability to travel 10%
