Viral Nation is seeking a Videographer who will translate social media content briefs into compelling final edits that combine videography, motion and effects. In this role, you will be enlisting a dynamic ability to ideate, film, edit, and deliver high-quality visuals on behalf of the world’s leading brands- maximizing efficiency and high-volume output. You are a self-starter who is comfortable bringing ideas to life through the full production cycle, while also showing an ability to collaborate effectively with creatives and producers, as needed. 

All applicants should provide a portfolio showcasing skills in videography and video/motion editing. Additional examples of still photography are welcome, if applicable. 

What You'll Do Here:

Execution & Production

• Produce a wide range of video and motion content, from lo-fi, social-native formats to high-production executions, tailored to platform requirements and campaign objectives
• Stay deeply immersed in culture and social media trends to proactively and reactively develop content aligned with brand objectives and creative briefs
• Own the end-to-end content production process, from ideation through final delivery, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time execution

Content Ideation & Development

• Rapidly ideate against social content briefs, developing compelling video and motion concepts that leverage strong storytelling and audience engagement tactics
• Translate concepts into clear production plans using moodboards, storyboards, and shot lists

Content Filming & Capture

• Demonstrate strong technical proficiency with capture equipment ranging from mobile devices to DSLR cameras
• Apply best practices in audio capture using camera-mounted, lavalier, and handheld microphones to ensure clean, high-quality sound
• Film and edit fast-turn content natively within major social platforms as needed (e.g., TikTok Editor, Instagram Edits, CapCut)

Content Editing & Post-Production

• Edit video and motion content using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro)
• Apply visual effects and motion design in post-production using tools such as After Effects

Innovation & AI Integration

• Monitor emerging trends across social platforms, video formats, and motion design
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance production workflows and push creative boundaries (e.g., Sora, Veo 3, Runway)

Copyright & Legal Compliance

• Secure appropriate rights and permissions for licensed materials, including music and stock assets, in alignment with brand and legal guidelines

You'll Need To Have:

• 3+ years of experience in video and motion content creation, with proven experience in social media 
• A strong portfolio showcasing your skills in asset production (video and motion). Additional still photography examples welcomed, but not required 
• Proficiency in filming techniques utilizing agile equipment (iPhones) as well as DSLR cameras
• Proficiency in relevant industry and social media editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AfterEffects, CapCut etc. 
• An acute understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content creation that drives results 
• Willingness to travel- at times with short notice- for the purpose of content creation
