We are looking for people to join the biggest MS SQL database team in Bulgaria. The team consists of more than 40 DBAs providing high-end quality support for more than 3000 MS SQL instances for DXC's major customers. The engineers are working with the newest technologies on the market and are frequently trained on the latest products. Day-to-day operations includes working with business critical databases - VLDBs with size in TBs, high availability solutions like AlwaysOn Availability Groups, multi-node active/active clusters, complex SQL replication solutions, projects for upgrades and consolidation.

 

Daily challenges
 

  • Ensuring the performance, availability, and security of databases for DXC customers;
  • Working with business-critical databases, high availability solutions;
  • Monitoring, assigning and resolving incidents generated by our customer environments, implementing low profile changes, processing the common mailbox;
  • Communicating with the higher level of support in order to resolve more complex issues.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting different solutions by being a part of our 24x7 support team



eXperience and skills required

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of what MSSQL server is.
  • Experience within Windows environments will be considered as an advantage
  • Strong work ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Service oriented behaviour
  • Fluency in English.
  • Team Player.
