About the Role:

This role is responsible for performing all reconciliation between bank and record keeping activity associated as T. Rowe Price’s domestic transfer agent. Fund Cash Operations (FCO) is responsible for and oversees all cash flows between the investment products (our mutual funds, trusts, and separate accounts) and investors. 

This is an elevated role within the team and includes responsibilities for project management, issue support/remediation, and peer coaching within the team.

Role Summary:

Administers the books and records for a variety of accounts. Responsible for assisting in the data analysis of banking, reconciliation, and cash management activities. Participates in identifying trends, providing root-cause analysis and execution on recommendations. Works within standardized procedures to conduct technical testing and implement reconciliation software. Receives guidance from more experienced staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes data analysis and identifies trends to inform reporting sent to management. Conducts root-cause analyses and proposes remediation action. May conduct technical testing and implementation of any required software. Uses comprehensive knowledge of systems and processes to recommend process changes and improvements to managers.
  • Assesses quality review procedures to ensure a high quality of work is performed by other associates. Advises on changes to policies and procedures to minimize errors and presents them to leadership. Participates in business unit-specific projects. With guidance from senior staff, responsible for the root-cause analysis and issue remediation and resolution.
  • Assists in the development of new technology, communication, documentation, and business case creation.
  • Assists in the creation of the data analysis conclusions, recommendations, and updates on initiatives to senior staff.

Typical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 3+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Investment knowledge
  • Transfer agent experience
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • In good standing within current role

FINRA Requirements:

FINRA licenses are not required for this role and will not be supported.

Work Flexibility:

This role is eligible for hybrid work (3 days on-site and 2 days off-site).

Regional Requirements:

Base salary range:

$48,500 - $83,000 USD

For the location of:

Colorado

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.

Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, S9427A when hiring in New York, SB 1162 when hiring in California, and SB 5761 when hiring in the State of Washington.
