About our Team

The Bank Data Business Systems team is the driving force behind our KYC and
Payments databases and internal systems. As a pivotal point of collaboration,
we are the liaison between Data Operations, Technology and Product teams,
ensuring seamless integration and communication. Our team is dedicated to
maintaining the integrity of our data systems and fostering strong partnerships
across departments to deliver exceptional results.
 

About the Role

In the role of Business Systems Analyst III, you will partner with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, translating them into actionable implementation plans. Working closely with technology and quality assurance teams, you will drive solutions that align with the organization's long-term goals. Your strong analytical abilities will ensure the integrity of data within the applications you manage. Additionally, you will take on a dual role as a Product Owner, providing guidance and direction on system enhancements and other strategic initiatives.
 

Responsibilities

  • Driving ongoing improvements within internal systems and databases, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.

  • Leading the team in taking ownership of internal systems and databases, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and priorities.

  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, effectively communicating these priorities to the technology team

  • Overseeing project deliverables, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with both strategic objectives and day-to-day operations.

  • Working closely with the technology team to define, prioritize, and deliver on key initiatives, balancing both project-based work and Business-as-Usual tasks.

  • Working with management and product teams to translate high-level business plans into action steps and reporting solutions and transform into comprehensive requirements/acceptance criteria.


Requirements

  • Must have experience of working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodology e.g., Agile, scrum or kanban along with specific tools such as Jira.

  • Possess at least 2 years’ experience working with data products in a business analysis or data operations capacity required.

  • Be able to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Be able to work well both in a team environment and independently.

  • Process mapping, workflow development and maintenance experience preferred.

  • Must have strong analytical, quantitative and deductive reasoning skills along with organizational and project management skills.
