We currently have an exciting position in Northern Sydney in one of our exceptional houses, for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting our clients through compassionate care and empowerment.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance: Provide support with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming according to individual needs and preferences.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Daily Living Support: Assist individuals with disabilities in performing daily activities such as meal preparation, feeding and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment.
  • Emotional Support: Foster a positive and supportive environment by actively listening, offering companionship, and engaging in conversation to address emotional needs and promote mental well-being.
  • Mobility Assistance: Provide support with transferring, positioning, and mobility aids, ensuring safety and comfort for clients with physical disabilities.
  • Community Integration: Encourage community involvement and socialization by accompanying clients to appointments, recreational activities, and events, as appropriate.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrate a track record of excellence in disability support services, showcasing your skills and expertise in caring for individuals with diverse needs.
