Summary: The role of the Quality Manger is to ensure independently that work products and processes in which they are created conform to specified requirements and also that nonconformities are eliminated in way preventing their occurrence in the future. Quality Manager are not under direct authority of the project's managers, even if they are part of the project team. This is assured via verification whether work products have been conducted at the correct time, according to their process flows and within the scope defied by requirements Roles and Responsibilities: - The quality manager ensures that deliveries (releases), work products and processes fulfill the agreed contractual quality obligations. - Ensuring the fulfillment of the quality standards and goals in project mentioned in Process Goals -Fulfilling legal requirements -Participating in meeting mentioned in -Surveying quality data and metrics - Project Management Plan -Quality Assurance Plan Quality Management. -Forwarding relevant quality data and metrics to internal stakeholders (document owners, overall project manager, director operations, CEO and CTO). -Forwarding relevant quality data and metrics to external stakeholders (GQ, GQ, ASPICE assessors, SQIL, ISO 9001 auditors) -Assisting in project planning for Enabling processes check, work products reviews, release reviews -Coaching and support of project members to fulfill project quality requirements The Quality Manager is responsible for or contributes to the following products: -Quality Management Plan -Process audit reports -Work product review reports -Spotcheck reports -Release review reports -Plans review reports -Quality assurance reports -VW software quality metric reports -Project Status reports -Problem record -Quality finding - Ensure independently that work products and processes in which they are created conform to specified requirements -Representing the company to the customer within the scope of assigned responsibilities -Deciding on mandatory improvements to be made with respect to work product quality and adherence to process regulations -Hindering deliveries if planned features are incomplete and the contractually defined quality is not met -Directly escalating issues to the quality assurance directors -Judging the maturity of processes Professional and Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Automotive ECU Software. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with embedded systems programming and real-time operating systems. - Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues. - Degree: Bachelor's in computer science/engineering/business management or similar degree or comparable work experience - Profound knowledge about how to implement and use quality management tools -Deep understanding of quality criteria and the correlating methods and procedures to achieve and verify them -Ability to define objective quality criteria in form of metrics and checklists for work products -Basic knowledge about cyber-security -Excellent stakeholder management skills -Organizational and project management skills -Assertiveness and good communication skills -Ability to document and report complex context in a comprehensive and structured way - Defining purpose, goals, scope, responsibilities, and work products to be produced for the process area of quality assurance -Indicating to what extent the quality management goals are fulfilled in the project -Providing predefined objective quality criteria for project work products -Scheduling all quality management activities in alignment with the project life-cycle -Assuring that all project work products meet pre-defined quality criteria -Assuring adherence to the organization's process regulations -Monitoring the status of process adherence in the project -Efficiently mitigating process non-conformances -Maintaining an up-to-date overview over the process quality in project Must Have skills: Aspice Additional Information: - Preferred: 3 years of experience working in quality management or product testing Preferred: 5 years of experience in the automotive industry - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
