The opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you will bring in unit trust sales in term of retail or institutional client investment and recruitment for unit trust advisers.

You are expected to develop relationships with our business partners and customers for the long-term growth purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Determining the potential business opportunities.
  • Developing a good relationship with customers and business partners.
  • Implementing new business development strategies to maximize profit and sales.
  • Determining new investment opportunities through market research and trends.
  • Providing customer satisfaction through after sales services.
  • Implementing sales and recruitment strategy.
  • Understanding the needs and preferences of the customer and ensuring that they are fulfilled.
  • Training and mentoring the new advisers when required.
  • Developing new business strategies according to company requirements.

What we are looking for

  • 5 years of experience working as a Business Development Manager or financial industry.
  • Proven sales record and managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and IT savvy.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and networking skills.
  • Strong work ethics.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
