Reporting to the Head of Digital Engineering Operations, The Director of Digital Engineering Process Operations is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical processes across the organization. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with various departments, and ensuring that processes align with the company’s goals and objectives.
This role ensures that operations are managed efficiently, minimizing downtime, and impact on technical operations. Specifically, the Director of Digital Engineering Process Operations will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement strategies for business process improvement and optimization.
- Identify and analyze current business processes and workflows to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement process improvements.
- Train and guide staff on new or improved processes.
- Measure the impact of process improvements on performance metrics and report findings.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Ensure all processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Drive innovation in business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee daily activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes to ensure consistency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement process improvements.
- Analyze and document current processes and Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Use business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN) to visualize processes.
- Collaborate across Digital teams and stakeholders to ensure handover and process flows are efficient and effective
- Implement a system for continuous feedback to improve processes.
- Resolves critical issues and contributes to the business unit/area development.
- Adheres to the departmental application development and client delivery process standards.
- Leverages operational analysis to provide input on product direction to product managers.
- Coordinates with industry compliance consultants and product managers to verify applications meet regulatory compliance.
- Manages work efforts of managers/supervisors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Extensive experience in business process management, with a proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to support decision-making.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $145,900.00 - $245,120.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
