Shift: Monday to Friday

Night shift: 10:00PM-6:00AM

What you'll do: 

  • Obtain update from prior shift (including DP times, load types, non-retail load update, other critical information) 

  • Review operational +/-, identify labour required by load time availability 

  • Review emails, confirm all loads are printed and drivers are assigned a match (reconcile), ensure loads are being completed 

  • Sort time sheets by driver Hours of Service (HOS) availability (fresh or return) 

  • Organize retail loads, non-retail loads and consolidate 

  • Select drivers based on operational needs and assign suitable route 

  • Assign drivers via driver app (see Driver App process for details) 

  • Provide update to following shift upon their arrival (including DP times, load types, non-retail load update, other critical information) 

  • Answer incoming calls as needed 

  • Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

What you bring: 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various individuals, from upper management to drivers 

  • Ability to work in multiple systems and applications, with a quick ability to learn 

  • Teammate, who is willing to assist others when needed 

  • Above average decision making skills 

  • Strong customer service skills 

  • Prior experience in a transportation environment is preferred
