Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across all products to position Lumentum as a leader in photonics across key industries, including automotive, life sciences, semiconductor and consumer electronics.
- Define and communicate the unique value propositions of Lumentum’s products to differentiate them in competitive markets.
- Collaborate with product line management, business development and CTO to align marketing efforts with product roadmaps and innovation pipelines.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams.
- Drive awareness and adoption of Lumentum’s solutions through targeted campaigns, webinars, and customer events.
- Partner with regional marketing and sales teams to tailor strategies for diverse markets and customer segments.
Customer Insights and Market Analysis
- Conduct detailed market research to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends in photonics.
- Use data-driven insights to guide marketing strategies, product positioning, and resource allocation.
- Establish strong relationships with customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Sales Enablement and Collaboration
- Develop and deliver high-impact sales tools, presentations, and training programs to equip the global sales team.
- Align closely with sales leadership to ensure consistent messaging and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic account management and business development efforts.
Team Leadership and Development
- Coach and mentor a team of product line managers and sales fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating industry best practices into marketing processes and tools.
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize the impact of marketing investments.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 10–15 years in product marketing, strategic marketing, or a related role, preferably in the photonics or high-tech hardware sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of photonic technologies, lasers, and their applications across telecommunications, semiconductors, and industrial markets.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with experience crafting compelling product messaging.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with proficiency in marketing tools and platforms.
- Leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

Pay Range:
P90-USA-1 :$156,800.00 - $224,000.00
