Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in organizational development/effectiveness/design role providing consultation to leaders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience in the following areas: organizational analysis and diagnostics; organizational design and change management; and, supporting and leading large change initiatives.
  • BA/BS in Business Management, Human Resources, Organization Development and/or Effectiveness, Industrial Psychology or related field or equivalent work experience. Emphasis on organizational effectiveness programs and talent management and Master's degree in one of these areas, or in Business Administration preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working as an HR Business Partner experience preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing strategic organizational developmental consultation and advisory services that support growth of the organization and execution of business objectives. Responsible for designing and implementing solutions in areas including organizational design, change management, leadership development, team effectiveness and talent/people initiatives. Serve as an internal subject matter expert in the areas of organizational analysis/diagnosis, design, development, implementation, delivery and review of a comprehensive suite of solutions.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Develops organizational developmental interventions to facilitate process and cultural change.
  • Conducts appropriate analysis to anticipate and communicate current and emerging organizational needs; stays abreast of changes and trends in leadership and organization development and proactively surfaces recommendations for improvements.
  • Evaluates and measures the impact of OD interventions to ensure desired outcomes are achieved and lessons learned are shared; adjusts as necessary based on feedback.
  • Partners with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and other Talent Management teams to lead and support organization design, redesign, and restructuring efforts ranging from “small in size” needs with moderate impact(s) to large transformations with significant impact(s).
  • Conducts in-depth organizational assessments/diagnostics to identify root cause of organizational effectiveness and business performance issues; formulates sound, reliable, and comprehensive recommendations to improve organization’s performance and business results.
  • Provides coaching, facilitation, team development, whole systems analyses, process re-engineering and organization development services in consultation with executive leaders and senior managers to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with company strategic plans and core values. Regularly meets with managers and leaders to understand the business outcomes essential for their success.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
