The purpose of the HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR is to assist Human Resources in the overall administration of the human resources function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the recruitment process inclusive of posting and updating career opportunities; screening resumes and candidates; scheduling interviews with leaders and department heads; administering pre-employment paperwork; conducting reference and background checks; extending offer to all final candidates.
- Interview and assess candidates based on needs defined by department hiring managers.
- Attend recruitment functions such as job fairs, career days, and other events to source candidates.
- Handle administration of new hire process, paperwork, and enter in HRIS in timely manner.
- Create and maintain associate files in an orderly, compliant, and secure manner.
- Place employment ads on various websites requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to keep information confidential.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
